Knots for NICU was founded in August 2022 at Accelerated Middle School (AMS) and operated exclusively as a middle school club for two years (2022-2024). Now operating in its third year, Knots for NICU AMS chapter grew to encompass Basha High School (BHS) in the Chandler Unified School District (CUSD) in Chandler Arizona.
